From KSN News:
WICHITA, Kansas — Wichita police say they have an unusual case on their hands.
Mice chewed into some evidence containing packages of marijuana in the property and evidence department at 410 North Waco.
Police say the mice were looking for a place to stay or perhaps food.
“Our protocol is to make a case like we did. We take photographs, reseal it, and reweigh the evidence. It is not that uncommon. Marijuana being an organic material has a very strong odor that would attract animals such as mice,” said Lt. Doug Nolte, Wichita Police Department.
