Kansas can cut spending, if we want

It is possible for Kansas to cut state government spending, if the legislature and governor have the will. But not much was accomplished this legislative session in this area.

Kansas Policy Institute has looked at some ways that Kansas could cut government spending. This would allow the state to reduce taxes and leave more money in the productive private sector, rather than sending it to government.
