We all have made sacrifices and have had to cut back. Families across Kansas know you can’t keep spending more than you take in. This is the cardinal rule of responsible budgeting. Yet, right now, our state is $16 billion in debt. The answer to our economic problems isn’t more spending; it’s making our state’s government more efficient, effective and accountable. Our state needs bold leadership that will deliver real solutions and put Kansas back on the right track.
