‘War on people’ to be Pachyderm Topic

This Friday (September 27, 2013) the Wichita Pachyderm Club presents Jack Cole, Co-founder and Board Chairman of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP). Jack served as an Undercover Drug Officer for the New Jersey State Police for many years and has this to say about the drug war: “This is Not a War on Drugs — it’s a War on People.”

When Cole spoke in Wichita in 2009, I interviewed him. The story is at Solution to drug problem to be presented in Wichita.

The public is welcome and encouraged to attend Wichita Pachyderm Club meetings. Meetings are held almost every Friday in the Wichita Petroleum Club on the top floor of the Bank of America Building at 100 N. Broadway. The program starts at noon, and it is suggested that guests arrive by 11:45 am in order to get their lunch before the program starts. The meeting costs $10, which includes a delicious buffet lunch and beverage. For more information click on Wichita Pachyderm Club.
