Legislative agendas be presented to Pachyderms and guests

This Friday (January 3, 2014) the Wichita Pachyderm Club presents a program of the 2014 legislative agendas for three local governmental bodies. These are the issues important to these agencies as the legislative session begins in a few weeks. Presenting will be City of Wichita, represented by Pete Meitzner, Vice Mayor and Council District II Representative; Sedgwick County, represented by David Unruh, County Commission Chair pro tem; and Wichita Public Schools, represented by Lynn Rogers, USD 259 Board of Education.

The public is welcome and encouraged to attend Wichita Pachyderm Club meetings. Meetings are held almost every Friday in the Wichita Petroleum Club on the top floor of the Bank of America Building at 100 N. Broadway. The program starts at noon, and it is suggested that guests arrive by 11:45 am in order to get their lunch before the program starts. The meeting costs $12, which includes a delicious buffet lunch and beverage. For more information click on Wichita Pachyderm Club.
